BSmart – Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use BSmart, we may collect:

• Account details: Basic user credentials and permissions needed for automation control.
• Device information: Serial number, MAC address, IP address and model of the devices you add to the App.
• Wi-Fi details: The name (SSID) and BSSID of the Wi-Fi network you are connected to, and the Wi-Fi password you enter, used only to set up your device.
• Access logs: Logs of gate access events with timestamps.
• Technical data: Device identifiers, OS information and system usage data, for security monitoring and troubleshooting.

2. Permissions Used by the App

• Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION): Android requires this permission to read the name of the Wi-Fi network you are connected to. We use it only for this purpose. We do not track or store your location.
• Network / Wi-Fi access: To find your device on the local network and communicate with our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To connect, manage and monitor your devices and gate access.
• To automate processes safely within your system.
• To troubleshoot issues and improve performance.
• To send important updates or security notifications.

4. Wi-Fi Password Handling

The Wi-Fi password you enter is used only to send credentials to your device during setup. It is not stored on our servers.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is protected using modern encryption and secure storage. Only authorized personnel can access sensitive information, and our systems are monitored to prevent unauthorized access. Some preferences (such as custom device names) are stored locally on your phone.

6. Sharing Information

We do not sell or trade your personal information. We may share data only when necessary to provide the automation service or to comply with legal obligations.

7. Cookies and Tracking

BSmart may use similar technologies to improve functionality, monitor usage and enhance security.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. To request deletion of your account and data, email info@bioroles.com from your registered email. We will process the request within 30 days.

9. Your Choices

You may limit the information you provide; however, some features may not work without required data. You can withdraw location permission at any time from your phone settings.

10. Children's Privacy

BSmart is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
